Pakistan Army School of Armored and Mechanized Warfare invites applications for the posts of UDC Senior Division Officer, Draftsman, Lower Division Officer LDC, Naib Kasid, Mali, Chowkidar, Mess Waiter, Cook Mess, Cook Unit and Sanitation Officer.
The posts mentioned in serial numbers 1 to 3 are invited by the people of Punjab and Naushera. Applicants for other posts must belong to Naushera.
Primary, Matric and Intermediate qualifications. Applicants for the position must have a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute. Compiler positions also require a corresponding diploma.
Age limit for general citizens should be between 18 to 30 years while for senior citizens age limit is 45 years. There are more than 30 vacancies in Pakistan Army School.

Introduction:
When the country gained its independence in August 1947, the Pakistan Army inherited six armored regiments from the British Indian Army. An Armored Corps Center and School was established at Nowshera in 1947 to train officers and men of the School Wing of the Pakistan Armored Corps.
As the number of armored regiments increased over time, the organization of the school and its associated facilities expanded accordingly. In 1956, it was renamed Penserkopschool.
On 10 June 1969, in accordance with the plan for the gradual mechanization of the ground forces, it was decentralized and renamed the “Armoured School”, and the school was also entrusted with the training of all mechanized troops. Hence, from 1993 onwards, the name was changed to School of Armor and Mechanized Warfare.

Armored and Mechanized Warfare School is located in Nowshera Cantonment, North West Frontier Province, Pakistan. Kant is located 48 km east of the provincial capital Peshawar and 128 km west of the federal capital Islamabad. It is beautifully situated on the banks of the Kabul River and on the Grand Trunk Road connecting Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar. Nowshera is a medium-sized city with several military training institutes. Risalpur, about 8 km across the river, is a small cantonment that houses the Pakistan Air Force Academy and a few other military training grounds. Nowshera is also the gateway to the beautiful Swat Valley and Chitral Valley from the north through the Lowari Pass. Summer temperatures vary from 40°C to 45°C, falling to -°C during harsh winters. School of Armor and Mechanized Warfare is one of the best institutions of Pakistan Army. In almost five decades, the school has made considerable progress on the training side or administratively. The school has the honor of educating about 574 foreign students.
