Ch Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology, Punjab Government has changed the name of Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology and it is now called Ch Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology.
According to the notification of the Health Board, he is happy to change the name of the institution. A new name board was also erected in front of the health center.
Ch Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology institute was established in 2006-2007 during the tenure of former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elah. By the time Elah became PA chairman in 2019, the hospital had taken more than a decade to operate.
